Review
This is the first book in the InkHeart triology, and it is also now a major motion picture, which i will review later. I picked this book up at I think a book fair and I just needed to own it simple as that!
This is the story of Meggie, the shy bookworm and her father the bookbinder, who later becomes know as Silvertongue, becuase this rare gift or according to him curse, you see when he reads alound the words leap off the page and become real, characters things anything.
Unfortunately he can't control what goes in or what comes out. This time Resa his wife goes in and Capricorn, the ruler of Inkheart, Baptista his second in command, which I refer to as the knife psycho. Plus the poor firebender Dustfinger who wishes nothing more than to go back to the pages of Inkheart.
After years of running, Mo finally manages to get caught by Capricorn, who wants to use his powers for dark things, and maybe Meggie as well?
Inkheart, in my opnion is simply brilliant, it was one of my first "Big" books, and it sort of made me fall in love with reading. I hope everyone likes it as much as I do. I give Inkheart a 5 out of 5.
